Community Support Ronald McDonald House United Jewish Community of York The United Way Crispus Attucks Samuel L. Abrams Foundation

CSR believes in giving back to the communities it serves. We support local families through organizations that reach out to make a difference with education, health care, youth programs and more.

CSR has many green recycling containers throughout the South Central Pennsylvania region where glossy magazines and paper are collected to benefit the families of sick and injured children through donations to Ronald McDonald House.

The magazine recycling program allows CSR to pick up full containers of magazines and glossy paper, process those items, and sell them to a paper mill, which turns the discarded paper into new magazine paper. A portion of the proceeds from each ton of paper collected goes directly to the Ronald McDonald House to pay for operational expenses. Since the inception of the program in 2004, more than 8,592 tons of glossy paper have generated over $259,550 for the Ronald McDonald House.
